Mrs. H.C. Ellis, who moved to this city from Hillsboro a month ago and who has been residing at 213 South Washington Street, died at 1 o’clock this morning from the effects of a cancer, from which she has been a sufferer for three years. Mrs. Ellis was born in this county in 1858 and was the daughter of Morton and Elizabeth McKinsey. She leaves a husband and five children. The funeral takes place at 10 a.m. Friday. The remains will be taken to Waynetown for burial. - kbz
